Please reach us at noveltea209@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.
Our tea room has very limited seating. Every guest joining us, including any children that require a seat, must be accounted for at time of reservation. Guests are not allowed to share or split their tea service. Thank you in advance for your understanding.
The deposit you paid upon making your reservation will be applied toward your total at time of service.
Absolutely! Email us at noveltea209@gmail.com with your vision and let us help you bring it to life!
We use fine china to serve our guests. We understand that accidents happen, however most, if not all, items we have collected are irreplaceable as they are unique. Therefore, if an item is damaged by any guest during service, an automatic $25 breakage fee will be added to your table's total bill and will be due upon completion of service.
If you are caught stealing, we will prosecute you. We have cameras throughout the tea room to prevent theft and are diligent about our inventory.
Well-behaved children are welcome, but our environment is best suited for those 10 and older. If you have a child that has trouble staying seated, we may not be the best fit for them as we use fine china to serve our tea and have a "you-break-it-you-buy-it" policy. Please supervise children at all times.
If you are unable to make your reservation, you must notify us at least 24 hours in advance. Any cancellations with less than 24 hours notice will not receive their deposit back.
If you do not show up for your scheduled tea service, the full amount per guest (depending on tea services selected) will be charged to the card used to place the deposit. No exceptions will be made.
NovelTea is open Thursday through Sunday and offers two seatings per day; one at 11am and another at 1:30pm. Advanced online reservations are required in order to attend. Seatings are for 1 hour and 30 minutes.
We are located in the historic Waterfront Warehouse which has its own free private parking lot. Street parking is also available, and additional freenparking is available around the backside of the building. Please note that NovelTea is located on the far side of the building, across from Nena's Mexican Cuisine.
Please be sure to allow adequate time for parking as we want to ensure our guests have the full seating experience.
ALLERGENS: While we will do our very best to provide options that meet your needs, please be aware that we have limited abilities due to the nature of our kitchen operations. We kindly ask that any dietary needs or restrictions are provided to us at the time of reservation. We cannot accommodate on the day of service. While we take precautions, we cannot guarantee that products are prepared in an exclusive allergen-free environment. Our items may contain or come into contact with common allergens such as wheat, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, and milk despite these precautions and preventative measures.
DAIRY: Our menu items contain butter, cream, and/or milk. We are unable to fulfill requests for dairy substitutions in our menu. However, oat milk can be provided upon request as an alternative for hot tea.
VEGETARIAN: We proudly offer a variety of vegetarian options on our chef's daily menu. If you prefer exclusively vegetarian items, please select the vegetarian only option when booking your reservation. Accommodations cannot be made on the day of service.
GLUTEN FREE: We are unable to offer gluten free items at this time.
VEGAN: We are unable to offer vegan options at this time.
No outside food, cakes, or beverages permitted.
No outside decorations allowed. Our tea room is already a special place to celebrate and is decorated as such! If you would like to plan a special or private party, please send us an email at noveltea209@gmail.com and we would love to help you crate the perfect party.
Small gifts may be brought in, but please note there is not room to place them on your table as it will be filled with fine china, delectable treats, and piping hot tea.
The Waterfront Warehouse does not allow pets, therefore we are not able to have your furry friends join us for tea. Of course, service animals specifically trained to aid a person with a disability are always welcome.
